🍁 Do the resorts decorate for the fall? Are any of them themed for fall or Halloween? We're visiting the end of September and just curious. Thanks!!!

They now close FW to anyone wanting to "look" at decorations or go trick or treating as that is just for resort guests. Last fall the line to get into FW by car the last two weeks of Oct. to go to the HDD was over a half hour while they turned away guests, checked ID and reservations.

If you are staying at another Disney resort and it's not the few days around Halloween, you can get to FW by taking Disney transportation. If driving, I would not expect to be allowed in, even with the parking lot being at the front of the campground.

OP is going end of September - Ft. W will not be on Halloween lock-down in September.

Our favorite way to get to Ft. W is by boat from MK. OP, you will have no issues going to Ft. W by Disney transportation in September. If you would like to see the decorations, I recommend booking a carriage ride. We've done it many, many times.
