resorts in May

We returned about a month ago from 4 very short days at the World. We stayed at ASMU. We are looking to go back in May probley May 3-10. Can someone tell me about the weather (hot, rain, stuff like that). Also what can you tell me about the crowds, and can I expect to see any codes for that time of year. We are looking at PORS. What can you tell me about that resort.

We usually go in the middle of May. Weather has been dry and ranges from about 83-90 deg. We found the crowds okay-waited about 20 minutes for the attractions or used fastpass for Rocknroller coaster and the Mountains.
May is our favorite time of year. (We're from the Great White North-May in Florida is better than the best part of our summer - lol).
I think we'll be there the same time you are next year.

I have been 5 times the first two weeks of May. First trip the weather was 96 degrees everyday. After that trip the weather has occasionally gotten into the 90's but has mosty been in the low to high 80's with a few days in the high 70's. The humidity has run the gamut from mild to somewhat heavy. The evenings have always been beautifuls. We have not hit much rain during this time. One trip there was no rain. 3 trips it rained once for a half an hour or so and one trip it rained twice for shoter periods.
The crowds have been fine except at the Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and/or ealry entry days. The rest of the parks have been easy to deal with.

I have gone in May twice and I love this time of year. I thought that the weather was VERY hot, but the crowds were moderate. Waits were very short except for Fantasy land in the MK but that is what fastpass is for!! The hot weather is good because you can really enjoy the water parks. They keep you cool and are tons of fun!!
