Which resorts (aside from value) do your children like best?
A friend who is bringing his 8 yr old daughter for the first time is torn between resorts, so I thought I'd ask!

My children (9 & 7) LOVE CBR!! I want to stay at the Poly next year but the kids are convinced that nothing is going to beat CBR!

Our kids favorite out of all the ones we stayed at when they traveled with us (CR, Poly, All-Star Sports and Coronado) is definitely the Coronado. Oldest son, now 23, who is going in July with the baseball team he coaches is very upset that the Coronado was not offered as one of the two resorts--his choices were All-Star Sports and CBR.

My dd is 6 and we have stayed at the Poly, AKL, WL, POFQ, POR,CBR,ASSP,ASM. Her all time favorites are the Poly & the AKL (but only if it has a savanna view room). They are kid friendly, awesome pools with kids activities all day long, good food choices, and good size rooms.

My kids' favorite so far has been Beach Club because of the amazing pool. They've loved all the Disney resorts they've stayed at, though! In order of most favorite to least, it'd go Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans.

My 2 nieces, age 6 and 12.5 loved the Poly...the little one called it her Hawaii House. Everything about it was a thrill for them, the beach which had hammocks, pails and shovels and swings, the volcano pool with zero entry, the music going on all the time, the leis, just everything was a huge hit with the girls.

My DD loved our stays at the YC and the GF. She loved the YC for the pools, and the GF for the pool (but not as much as the YC pool) and the monorail.

We're trying the Poly and AKL this time. We have visited them both in the past for dinners and our DD loved the theme at both. The animals out at AKL really make it special.

Mine's first choice is always AKL. Savannah views, a really nice pool and some other unique activities: Nightime animal viewing and story time just to mention a couple. Thier second choice is Beach Club. They love the pool, the ice cream shop, movies on the beach and roaming the boardwalk area.
