Resorts for 5?

what about the cabins? This is what I am trying to decide for next week. My options for 4 (but need room for 5 as kids are 14 (boy) 16 (girl) and they dont want to share a bed. The only other option showing up for me is contemporary and wilderness lodge villa that are in my price range. Last week a yacht club came up. I put in cart and was going to come back and book and it was gone:-(((Dont wait if you see what you want. My issue is we only decided we were doing this a couple weeks ago.....lol

Why not bring an air mattress for one of the kids and stay wherever you want?

Whoever you spoke to gave you incorrect information. Air mattresses are most definitely allowed.

Disney call center employees are known to give out misinformation, which is really unfortunate. As far as I know, air mattresses are completely allowed. I mean, why wouldn't they be? Did the person you talked to possibly think you were trying to go over capacity in the room by bringing an air mattress? In this case, it would not be allowed. But that's not what you're doing.

My goodness, are they just making it up now? Air mattresses are absolutely acceptable at resorts, people bring and use them all the time.

That's my guess, too. As long as you meet or are less than room occupancy limits, you could use an air bed of your own. They won't provide one.

Bring your air mattress. When you call you reach the call center CM's who try to give accurate info, but are not always successful.

Bring the air mattress. You wrote upthread that your kids are teenagers...unless they are smaller than average, neither will fit on the pull down.

The CBR murphy bed is about 5'6" (66") long. Shorter than the ones at the DVC resorts.

Can anyone tell me which buildings at POR have rooms that will accommodate 5? I made a reservation this morning, and the rep put in a request for building 85 for me, but the more I'm researching, it looks like only the AB section has rooms for 5.

Correct. Only AB has the murphy bed.
