Our room is paid in full but I'm wondering if the resorts put a hold on your credit card? If so, how much?

No they don't. They run it through for $1 to make sure it is good if you are using it for room charging.

I know this has been asked before, but does someone know
what the charge limits are?

The norm is $1500.

Tina

$500 Value, $1000 for moderates, $1500 for Deluxe. When you reach that limit your card is charged. Then you start over again with those amounts.

I have seen the following limits posted before:

Value Resorts: $500
Moderates: $1000
Deluxes: $1500

From what I understand, when you have charged your limit, you simply have them run your card for that amount and an additional line of credit becomes available to you once again.

Have fun!

1) It is not a charge of $1.
2) It is an "authorization".
3) There is no amount on your card, but it does reduce your card's limit.

4) The credit card room-key charging limits are
. . . Value - $500
. . . Moderate - $1,000
. . . Deluxe - $1,500
5) It can be raised
. . . resort manager approval is required
. . . we had it raised at All Star Music last Fall
. . . for Values, $500 can be used pretty quickly

thanks for the info! does anyone know if you can charge
the searay searacer rental charge to your room (I'm looking
forward to carrying as little cash/cards as possible. the
charging priviledges are a wonderful advantage, and just
yet another reason to stay onsite! :goodvibes

Sure you can. We would go every couple of days and review and pay our bill at that time.

This is probably a good idea, if for no other reason that to guage your spending at shorter intervals, rather than getting sticker shock on check-out!
