Resorts and Cheer Competition Question for May 2017

We are booked at CBR from 5/13-5/20 with a pin code but the only thing available was a king or pirates room. I checked all the other resorts with the pin code and in all 3 of the other moderates every category was available. Is there a way I can call the resort directly to check? We have stayed at CSR and PORS before but wanted to try somewhere new. I did do some research online last night and found where the summit was still going on until that Monday but their package advertised was for Allstar resorts.

I find your post very confusing and I am not at all sure what you are asking.
In general, the number you dial to reach a resort is answered in a Call Center. It is not their job to do reservations and they will have no idea what availability may be. I have no idea what you mean by "summit", but based on the title of your post, not the posted body, I think maybe you are referring to the Cheer competition. Is that correct?
The various youth groups staying throughout the Year (Pop Warner, Cheerleaders etc) generally stay at the All Star Resorts and at least one other Moderate. I think Pop Warner is at CSR this year.

The Summit - All Star Cheerleading Championship.
The finals run into that weekend and extend to the first couple of days that week my concern based on availability is that the over flow will be at CBR. I did not say it was the responsibility of anyone else but I was curious if someone would know the answer if CBR is being used during those dates.

It is actually called D2 Summit cheerleading and dance. Disney is hosting this year and some of the package offerings are until May 18. Sorry for any confusion.

You just don't know. DS participated in a sports event down there and they bumped them to a moderate after they overbooked values. CBR is often used for groups.

The other two Summits offer CSR as well. Attending families may book elsewhere as Summit packages are looking like participant packages. I think it will boil down to occupancy levels at time, and Disney trying to fill as many rooms as they can.

The only moderate probably safe from groups is POFQ. POR may be next given they are also farther from WWOS. I think the reason they use CBR is it's right there and CSR isn't too far.

As @HopperFan stated, in that case I would go with POFQ as groups are rarely there due to the small size.

My daughter will be there for Summit (not D2)the weekend before and our gym is staying at Port Orleans Riverside.
