Resort upgrade from Caribbean Beach to Boardwalk!

Skyliner is back up and running with guests.

That doesn't mean they aren't planning changes

What an amazing upgrade!!! I hope you love BWV as much as I do!!! I love being able to walk to HS and EP. You can also walk over to Fantasia mini golf if you are looking for something else to do. My favorite time at the BW is at night. The lights reflecting off the water are so pretty!!!
My only grumble with BWV is that there isn't anywhere "inside" to grab a bite to eat. You have to go outside to the boardwalk area or surrounding resorts to get food. This becomes an issue when it decides to rain cats and dogs for the entire day. Otherwise, this really isn't an issue. But it happened to us once, so now it's in my memory bank as a "less than desirable" attribute of the resort.
If you get a resort mug, I found that YC and BC had the coke freestyle machines, so you can wonder over there if you want something different from what the BW Bakery has to offer.

That’s amazing. The best upgrade I ever got was a preferred view when I booked standard.

What a great upgrade.

We LOVE the BWV!!! So beautiful at Christmas time. The location is awesome, being able to walk to EPCOT is such a huge plus.

We also walk to DS and over to the YC/BC are to explore/eat/drink.

I just talked to one of my friends who stayed at CBR very recently. She said the construction noise from Riviera started very early (like before 6 a.m.) and people were complaining

I don't think that's why the OP got upgraded, though. Riviera should be open and occupied before he arrives.
