Resort transportation question

My family and I are taking our first trip to WDW in 12 days!!!

We have a 7:30am reserv at Chef Mickey's. I have read somewhere that the buses don't go that early and to be sure to give an hour for travel time from POR to CTR. Could someone please suggest the best way to travel to this breakfast? Thank you!

The breakfast buses to Magic Kingdom start at 6:30 am. Be at your bus stop at 6:20 am. The driver "may" be able to take you directly to the Contemporary, just ask. If he/she cannot, then it is a quick walk to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom bus stop, just walk toward the Magic Kingdom from the bus stop, keeping to your right. You should see a path going the opposite direction on the other side of the rail. There is a point just before guest services where you will be able to take a U-turn, then follow that sidewalk to the Contemporary.
