Asking for any helpfull advice on what not to miss as I tour some resorts I've never been to. Like what areas to definatly check out or food to grab. Any entertainment to watch. And so on.

My resort visits include in order

Day one:
Coronado Springs Lodge-daytime
Beach Club & Yacht Club-early evening
Boardwalk Inn-evening

Day two:
Wilderness Lodge-morning
Contempory-noonish
Grand Floridian-afternoon
Polynisian-night (want to watch water parade from beach)

Day three:
Port Orleans Riverside & French Quarter-noonish

Thanks in advance to any who will throw out their two cents worth:goodvibes

Coronado Springs - take a walk along the lake, then hang out in a hammock for awhile.

Boardwalk - check out the entertainment along the boardwalk at night.

Poly - after the water pageant make sure to stay for the fireworks, they are amazing.

Wilderness Lodge - take a guided tour of the lodge if it is still offered. Try to be the flag family for the day. You get to raise the flag. I believe they also have a hidden Mickey hunt. Also look at the fireplace, it represents the grand canyon and has different colors in it. Also the water geyser.

have fun.

Thank you! Yes I had forgot about watching the MK fireworks on the Poly beach!

As for your time at PO Riverside and French Quarter be sure to listen to the music that is piped in along the grounds, some of my favorite resort music (next to AKL) the music just seems to capture the feel of the resort!
Enjoy!!!!

Ask at the Poly what time they will have the lighting of the torch ceremony. Its held at the enterance of the resort in the evenings.

Check out the totem poles in the Wildreness lodge. It is bad luck to have totem poles facing one another. A little detail Disney over looked when they built the lodge so once a year a priest has to bless the lodge. There are over 100 colors in the fireplace at the lodge. You can take a walk from lodge over to the camp grounds and visit with the horses used in the parades.

Go to Boma at 3:45 they have a free tour of restaurant and give food samples. then they take you over to Jiko for a tour and food samples for free.

If you cant sleep and you are staying at the Poly go out to the beach and see what is happening at MK when the park closes. We did this at 2 in the morning and they were shooting off fireworks. It was like having our own fireworks show. Interesting to here all the construction trucks over there beeping and moving about at MK.

WL: Walk down to the beach past the pool, and sit in a beach chair for a few minutes looking out at Bay Lake. There's almost never anyone down there, and there's lots of wild life to watch for (egrets, otters, the rare gator). Also every hour, on the hour, the geyser goes off between the pool and the lake. You can take the boat launch from WL to the CR and back to WL for a pleasant and free ride. Oh, and listen to the Western movie theme music in the lobby for awhile - I love the WL background music! Give Humphry the bear statue a tap on the nose for good luck.

Love to get breakfast at roaring forks at WL or an egg and cheese crossaint at GF counter service. Beaches and cream at BC has great ice cream!
