resort to resort luggage transfer

Our trip is almost here!!! We're flying into MCO Thurs. night. for a one night stay at ASM then transfer to 7 nights at OKW. Very excited since we've never stayed at OKW.

Will Disney transfer our luggage to OKW? Here's the kicker....we're staying at OKW thru time share points (not DVC points). Will this matter? Will we be treated differently?

your luggage should be tranferred no problem. OKW is a great resort; it is our home. have stayed in a studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom. all were great! have a wonderful trip!

We had our luggage transferred a couple of years ago from ASM to POR (It was Dixie Landings at that time) and also had no problem. They told us to call the morning we were checking out to request the luggage transfer, then we were told to leave the luggage in the room (8am). We did and when we went to check into DxL it was not there (about 3pm). It ended up not getting there until 5pm. The CM's at DxL called three times to find out where it was. Finally they told us that they deliver the luggage to all the resorts at once, after check out time (about 12pm), and they usually take their time with it. We ended up getting our stuff, but just be aware that it might not make it to OKW before you get there, you might have to wait a couple of hours for it if you check in before 4pm. Still, it was fine, and seemed to be a pleaseant experience. They even brought our stuff to us in our room when it finally did get there.
