My dd and I are heading up to the Upper Peninsula tomorrow for a long weekend. Everyone have a good rest of the week and weekend.

OKay all my other resorts have been done for like 2 weeks now. I am having large problems with the Pop Century borders. I have looked for peace sign stickers, flower power ish stickers, classic cars, computers, stamps that would fit decades and CANNOT find a thing. SO does anyone have other suggestions that I could do for the borders? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What about drawing the shape of an elongated bowling pin to be the border?
Don't they have bowling pin shaped pool?

If you have a Michaels near you, they have a bunch of "themed" buttons. I noticed one of them was smilie faces and peace signs in bright colors.

That sounds like a great idea!!!!! but you are amusing I can draw, which I can't. Oh well. But maybe can find bowling something. You think I could find TV stickers etc but nope......

I even tried to play with Clip art and just "print" borders with poddle skirt, peace sign etc it looked like garbage saying it nicely.

Try bowling pin clip art. Print it on regular paper and use it as a pattern on your good paper. That's what I do. No drawing necessary! Just size the art to be the dimensions of your border. I think, in Word, just double click the art, go to the size tab and type in the dimensions. Should work.

Just checking in. I'm done with most of mine, but have one more to do. I just got back from visiting Mickey, so I have lots of laundry to catch up on. And of course, I work the next 4 nights, so I'll be busy until the beginning of next week. I'll send them out Monday, is that okay?

I use the same Idea as Mickster when it comes to making a template! Drawing is not my strong suit!! LOL

I'm nearly done. I just have two more groups to finish up that I will do tomorrow. I will probably head the post office late in the day on Friday as I'm stuck in the house Friday morning with my oil guy (again). This is the 2nd of 3 "dates" we have for him to install my new burner. I'm spending more time in the house with him than my husband lately! Anway, having said that it will probably get to you Monday or Tuesday of next week. Is that okay?

Mine are all done except for eyelets in the tags. I cannot find my eyelet setter. I think the cleaning fairy (dh) moved it while I was gone. Of course, he says he didn't.

For those that don't know, my dm--85--and I went to california to visit my dd, dsil, and dgks--3 1/2 and just 1. We went for the baby's party. We were gone 17 days and my dh, bless his heart, irlmh, decided that he would clean and that he would REALLY help me out and clean up my scrapbooking stuff. So . . .

I have looked high and low and cannot find my eyelet setter. irlmh I also am out of baggies of all sizes and shapes (irlmh) and went to raid the supply from previous swaps only to find that they are mysteriously missing, too!!! Did I say that I really love my husband? According to dh, he didn't touch any of those items--so there must have been an eyelet setter and recycled swap baggies thief who got into my house and took them! Ladies, watch out, you could be next.

Anyway, I found enough baggies so that I could combine same swappers from the two groups that I am in. I am on the run all today and the next few days--just did a big grocery store sweep on Monday--and don't have time to go to the store. Will be able to swing by the po TONIGHT while on the way to somewhere else and mail these. So they will be on their way!

Michelle, I have marked who they go to and the resort names, so it shouldn't be hard for you. I am sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

Ok I'm feeling bad. I ahd every intention of getting to the PO today or tomorrow but it doesn't look like its gonna happen. Is it ok to send them out priority on Monday?

BigSis I am just about done have like 3 borders left to finish and am ready to pack things up. Would you prefer that we do or do not put people names on things?

And if someone is in a group more then once (OKW) do you want me to put all their elements (both sets) in the same bag.

Just looking for the easiest and best way to do this for you to redivide.
