I am thinking of doing a very last minute trip to the WWOHP at US this Spring and surprising our DDs (9 and 11). Has anyone stayed on the US resorts? Apparently you to "Jump the Lines", its like a Fast Pass for the whole park. Now they are running a special with the 3 broomsticks bfast, is it worth the $? Any thoughts?

There is a Universal resorts board that has stickies on each hotel that should help you.

And just for some added opinion because I LOVE throwing my 2 cents out there....

I think it is VERY worth it to stay on site during peak attendance weeks/weekends. You do get to use your hotel key for Express pass as well as get an hour early entry into WWOHP. If you are going for more than one day I would recommend one person in your party getting a Preferred Annual Pass. Even if you don't use this pass more than a couple times its worth it in it's discounts. You will receive up to 30% off your hotel room(Which practically pays for itself in the first visit), 10% off Food and Merch(except Harry Potter), and get discounts on the rest of your party's tickets (10-15%).

Found it cheaper to book the hotel and purchase the tickets separately. You can still eat at three broomsticks

This is true. Right now they're running the "More you stay more you save" and you HAVE to book directly through the hotel to receive this deal.

The stay more save more rate is normally out for advanced bookings. There is a limited amount of rooms at this rate, just like AAA, APH, and FL resident rates. You have to stay a minimum of 3 nights to qualify. You can also book this rate directly with Loews Hotels and Universal's website.:thumbsup2

We just stayed at RPR. The hotel was beautiful. I love the Express pass. It made touring much easier.

Ds & I had breakfast at 3 Broomsticks. The food wasn't all that special imho.

One thing we discovered is that Universal has similar prices to Disney for food but the portion sizes are a lot smaller. That was disappointing as we usually split entrees.

However the funnel cakes with chocolate sauce are delicious. We got ours at Studios in Amity. I also recommend the Crescent Moon in IOA. They have huge chocolate croissants and muffins. Yum!
