Ok so i thought that we could do a resort review thread.
the only requirement is that it has to be a paragraph or more
I'll start!

Cornado Springs:

Cornado has to be my favorite resort. I love the store, panchitos. he is my favorite character ever! i think the donkey in the store is a great touch, because it was in the movie, and it was awesome! you get to walk to the pepper market, which is the counter service. The pool and water slides are awesome. it is so open, with different buildings. I would really suggest this resort.

I know it wasn't great, but whatever. I hope this catches on.:wave2: bye!

Boardwalk Villas:

BWV is my favorite resort and my home away from home. It's walking-distance to DHS and EPCOT, which is great for food (mostly EPCOT) and ride purposes. You can also walk to the Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin, and Yacht Club if you desire. Both pools (general and quiet) are nice. There are also nice little shops in back of the Villas where you can get food, pins, clothes, lanyards, jewelry, etc. The rooms are spacious and I've never had a bad view when I stayed there. I'd definitely encourage everyone to stay at the BWV, it's such a nice resort and the whole family can enjoy it! :thumbsup2

I hope that's the type of thing you were looking for, Doodle. :rotfl:

Port Orleans Riverside:
I love this resort because it's really relaxed and quiet. The atmosphere REALLY makes you feel like in New Orleans. The gift shop is AMAZING! Speaking of amazing the food at River Side Mill is amazing too (It's also really good for breakfast). Another thing I love is that you can take a boat to Downtown Disney! That's always fun.

DISNEY GRAND CALIFORNIAN
This hotel at the Disneyland Resort is wonderful! I love how you can walk to both parks very easily, matter of fact the hotel has it's own entry into DCA. Our room was above the World of Disney store and had a view of Space Mountain, Downtown Disney, and the train station. I adored people watching in the morning. It is a very pretty hotel in the Californian arts and crafts style, similar to the wilderness lodge but a little different. I never eat at this hotel as we mostly eat in the parks. This is the best hotel at Disneyland.

Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Well, what can I say? Amazing? That is what i believe Polynesian is. You have a great monorail going to the parks. And, you have one of the best restaurants, 'Ohana! :D I really love this hotel, because it is beautiful. And, best of all, you get to meet Stitch there.

These are awesome! i thought it would be a good idea, and i hope people keep it up. ;) you can also say some specific feedback, like things that happened to you. Like when i stayed at the boardwalk, we asked for a fruit cup with just grapes for my little brother, and they didn't have one. we went back to our room later that night, and there was a huge bowl of grapes, and a note saying every day there would be a special fruit cup for charlie. it just shows how nice the staff can be there. Things like that would be perfect. thanks guys!:cool1:

Animal Kingdom Lodge
My family and I absolutely adore this resort. We're DVC but we always stay in Jambo House because it is just so relaxing. I only have one negative and that's location. The location is pretty atrocious. It's at the very edge of the WDW property and the bus rides are always long and painful--unless you're going to AK. Unfortunately, we're not huge AK fans so this isn't tremendously helpful. But, we still love AKL. We love the vicinity to the animals, the pool, and the restaurants (Boma and Jiko are glorious). My dad is originally from South Africa and, for him, staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is like going home--and I feel like that's the quintessential philosophy of Disney.

P.S. I think this thread is a great idea :)

How sweet! Disney staff is just amazing. :lovestruc

oh and i love polynesian, riverside, cornado, beach club, and i really want to stay at akl!

Wilderness Lodge:
This is my favorite resort! The atmosphere is very cozy, and it feels like home whenever I'm there. The rooms are quite lovely, and I love love love the pool. It wasn't too big and wasn't too small. The food court was alright, I didn't spend much time there. Also taking the boat to Magic Kingdom was my most favorite form of transportation. It's my bby.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Really an amazing resort. It's not as snooty as it comes off to be, but the Cast Members who work there really make you feel like you're the most important person in the world (: When we stayed there, the guy who brought our luggage to our room gave us an upgrade to a Magic Kingdom view room, he called up his friend and BOOM upgrade from a regular view to a view where we could see Cinderella's castle and watch the fireworks every night! Simply amazing

Agreed the cast members there are great, As all of them at Disney are. I loved the Charlie's grape story. I'm so excited to be a cast member and create magic!

I showed charlie the replies of the charlie grape story, after one hour. he is so happy! he thinks he is a celebrity! disney cast members are great:goodvibes

because no one has done one today, ill do one.
RIVERSIDE:
Riverside is an amazing resort. It is a more relaxed and down to earth resort, which is kind of because of the theme. walking to places like the breakfast counter service is much more relaxing, because it isn't too crowded, and is very shady, because of all of the trees. the resorts on the bottom floor go outside, so i have memories of playing sword fight with my two younger brothers before the bus came. I would really suggest this resort, unless you don't like salamanders. there were a lot when i went.:rotfl:

ehhh, what the heck, I'll do another CSR. :)
Coronado Springs:
The theme of this resort is kinda meh but I still love it! <3  The big pool has a water slide, which is long but also kinda meh, only fun because you're there. Pepper Market food court is AWESOME!!! The rooms were always nice, but I haven't been there since they were renovated. The people are really nice and the buses are awesome because there are stops all over the resort and one time I could see mine from my window! I'd like to stay here again, but we might stay somewhere else this time. That's okay, I'm sure we'll come back! :)

Coronado rocks. I'd say it's my fave!

Beach club

Beach club is one of my favorite resorts! It has an awesome location walking distance to epcot and Hollywood studios. My favorite part of beach club is the pool! It has sand at the bottom!! Its so fun and has a huge water slide and unique shaped pools. Its like your at the beach but with cleaner water haha.

I loooooooove the pool! It's huge, and sandy and awesome! I went there two years ago. It was really cool

CBR
It's great because it has all of the caribbean islands (Jamaica, Barbados, ect.) and on each island it has it's own separate small pool. There is also a small beach in the hotel too. The hotel lobby has a wide amount of food choices and it has an arcade. Also right near the hotel lobby is the Hotel pool (Pirate ship slide, Kiddie pool, also the pool is huge). The only problem is the hotel is huge and if you wanted to get to the pirate ship pool it will take a while, but the hotel has busses. I highly recommend you going there.
