Resort Reservations

We have had to cancel our trip to Orlando set for November because my wife has found out that we are expecting. So....I would like to take advantage of paying the future trip off over time so we can stay on site. (We were not going to this time around cause we were saving money by going the condo route) How far in advance can you book the resorts and dining plans etc. Is two-theee years to far out or what? Thank for your help.

I believe I saw somewhere on here that you could do it up to 2 years for room only. I made my room only reservation 18 months out and paid the required deposit at that time. The packages (meal plan) are released around Aug of the prior year. One thing that I did was opened a separate savings account and put a little money in it every opportunity. When it comes time to make my deposit on my package then I have the money and then hopefully but the time for the final payment I will have all of it. Good Luck and smart move to have it paid for ahead of time. You will not regret staying on-site.
