Does anyone know when resort reservations will become available again? Or could we use this thread to keep track when they become available again on the website? I want to do a maternity shoot in September and it seems you can’t resort hop so I’d need to get a reservation at the hotel I want to take pictures at.

Keep watching . The resorts section will have updated info.

Be warned. Wdw is moving slow with reopening, so it may be a while for you.

Hopefully by then things a bit more normal.

I’m hoping with every passing month things will get a litter more open. I can’t really reschedule a maternity shoot lol so I’m hoping it’ll be possible when the time comes

you might consider renting DVC points, as all of those resorts are available to book now.

In a few weeks at most, reservation info should be released at least for the summer, probably more. Maddening as it is, I'd just wait until then. DVC rentals are very restrictive in their policies- only go that route if you're 100% sure that's what you want.

By then a dining reservation may be all you need.

Keep watching here .... hopefully it all works out .

Honestly, I'd have a backup plan. Disney is having some problems finding space for people in the DVC properties while the parks are closed and a high cancel rate. Starting in September, DVC availability starts to become even tighter. Expanding to reopening the deluxe hotels associated with DVC will relieve some of the pressure, but depending on how many additional resorts they open, how many people are already booked on property they need to move, they may not be opening resort booking again for awhile, and when they do, the availability will likely be extremely limited.

Basically I'd make a plan A somewhere other than a Disney resort, and then if your resort choice becomes available, consider it pixie dust.
