Resort reservation question

We are currently booked for 7/31-8/8. Have they been canceling your whole trip if your first day falls into a cut off weekly closure? Or can you remove one day from a vacation package? Just curious for guests who already have been canceled.

Cancellation has been the whole reservation based on check-in date. If the check-in date falls within the period being canceled, the whole reservation will cancel even if it extends beyond the closure period. I believe the only way to avoid this is to book split stays. It may also help to note that generally speaking, the cancellations have been on a rolling calendar week basis -- Sunday through Saturday, I believe. So split stays might only work if plans cross 2 different calendar weeks.
