Resort reservation number

Recently booked to go to Old Key West next May with Virgin Holidays. I asked for my 12 digit resort reservation number and after a little trouble I managed to get it. I tried putting the number on the disney website so I could mange my booking online and in november make my ADR's but the number wasn't recognised. Is this because it is to early and won't be on the system until nearer the time or do I have the wrong number?

When you book through a travel agency, you lose control over your reservation, so I don't think you can access it on the Disney website. I might be wrong, but when I booked through a TA, I never accessed my reservation on the Disney website.

We used a TA 3 times and each time we could see our ressies online, so that's not the problem. Maybe call Disney and verify that you are using the correct number.
