Resort Refurbishments....

I'd say the Boardwalk Villas are done, since they were almost done when we stayed in Jan.

I've stayed at the Dolphin twice. The first was in 2004. They had just done the Michael Graves refurb. BUT I think it's been refurbed (or maybe you'd say refreshed) since then. I stayed again in 2008, but I don't remember if there had been differences. If you look on the S/D thread, it might say. Otherwise, someone can post the question on that thread. That group is in-the-know and will respond efficiently.

The Beach Club Villas may be on the same schedule as the Beach Club. If they are not done, they will be soon.

From what I've heard, I think the DVC hotels are on a completely different refurb schedule than their main hotel counterpart. I've also heard they refurb them less.

POR was completed this month (7/2012), I believe. (there may be one bldg. still having some work done.)
I'm reading that POFQ rooms were done last year.

We are pleased WL refurb is almost done. Perfect for our May 2013 trip. At least no renos while we are there..........

Found this thread on search. I think the AKL got new comforters a few years ago, and not sure when the flat screen TVs were installed, but seems like this and the Poly are about due a full room rehab ?

I know they have just refurbed Saratoga Springs are now concrentrating on the exterior of the resort. We are just back and they were bleaching the building walls and steam cleaning all the footpaths.

That would be considered normal maintenance and not a refurbishment.

A refurbishment would be painting, caulking, etc.
