Resort recommendation?

hi all! We are going on a cruise on the Dream on Jan 3- we are looking for a resort to stay at for 4ish nights before the cruise, in the Orlando area. We aren't going near the parks that week due to crowds, so we are hoping to find fun resort with an excellent pool that they have New Year's activities. Any recommendations for something that won't break the bank?

Break the bank? that could be the catch with those dates and activities.

Look at these to get an idea, great holiday locations:

- Gaylord Palms, you literally could spend all 4 days there and not do everything. GREAT for holiday.
- Rosen Shingle Creek, beautiful and nice for any holiday.
- Hilton ORLANDO, the one by the convention center. Beautiful, great pool and activities and from some rooms, balcony at end of halls and top floor lounge view of MANY different fireworks with SeaWorld virtually across the street.
- Marriott World, holiday activity, great fireworks of their own

Marriott Gramde Costa is great. Also Bonnet Creek Resort. Both have beautiful grounds and facilities. The Wyndham Grand is attached to the Bonnet Creek Timeshare resort and they share facilities. Highly recommend.
