hi there ,
just helping a friend out with different options ,etc...

for a family of 5 (this included 3 kids ...10-16)...

what options and recommendations would you have for a resort...

I know the basics :
book 2 rooms at a value..
or moderate : is the option only POR ??

or how about the deluxes .... any recommendations and why ??
(they love their pool time and having a food court similar to POR !)

thanks for any tips !

I am soooo not the expert...BUT

Have you thought about the Beach Club? We were just there and LOVED it, which is why I bring it up...one room can sleep 5 with two queens and a day bed...you mentioned liking pool time...Stormalong Bay at YC/BC is INCREDIBLE...location is nice...walking distance to Epcot...no food court though...but if they could deal without that...I would recommend Beach Club.

I would probably go with 2 value rooms. POR has trundle beds in the AB section but those may not be very comfortable for the 10 year old. You will appeciate the extra space that two rooms will give you.

I would highlyhighlyhighly recommend connecting rooms at the POP century. This was our first time there and we're hooked. They have very good amenities for a value plus no horrific wait for the busses. Mousekeeping is superior over that of the Contemporary. We even got a couple of towel animals, which were very cute.

oh... i did not know that ! if there is no food court........where can you pick
up a quick bite to eat around there ?

POR is the only Mod option for one room. CSR also have suites but they are slightly more than two rooms. Also, Fort Wilderness cabins is a nice option as well as the Allstar Suites.

If value is a priority i would consider connecting rooms at POP or maybe a family suite at ASMU. I like the fact that the suite has the little kitchenette and also offers two bathrooms.
