I just made a reservation for January 10-13, 2003 at CBR, and the rate they quoted was $169.00/night + 11% tax, bringing it up to like $189/night. Now I know that they are quoting me rack rate at this point, but does anyone know when the discounts etc come out? Also, CBR is not my 1st choice, CS is, but they had no availability at CS for that time period. Is that possible??? Or do rooms get made available as time goes on?

I would just keep checking back to see if anything becomes available at CSR. Then you can have the deposit transferred. As the time gets closer, keep checking mousesavers.com for discounts.

Disney Doll, your post really got my attentiion when I saw the increase in the value season rate for next year! This year that same room would have been 133.00 per night during those days! That is a significant increase! I would hold out for a code. There bound to be out there for that time of year.

I recently made reservations for February 2003 and was told that the rates are not yet set for 2003. They won't be out until July. They gave me a rate based on last year's regular season rate. Was told my rate should go down. ($154 + $15 for trundle bed at PPO)
