Resort Quick Serve Breakfast

I also tend to think of demand were there they’d open. But we must also remember they still have staffing shortages. It may make sense to open later than to close early or midday if they don’t have staffing.

I know pre-pandemic PoP and others would open at 6am as I would walk over to get my coffee the minute I woke up. The last two times we were there (during pandemic) they opened at 7am, too much of an inconvenience in the midst of morning mania and rope dropping.

I hate that we have no room service and such limited hours on the stores and restaurants. Can't the resorts at least offer a few items 24/7? VGF2 has no fridge or microwave so make sure you've got crackers and bottled water when staying there.

VGF does have room service, and Poly used to.

I didn't know about VGF room service but I'm glad to hear it. We're staying VGF in August and we'll likely use it at night once or twice. I remembered Poly having it in the past as we stayed there pre-pandemic as well. I could be wrong but I think we may have ordered a pizza of all things.

We always stay on property and we always rope drop the parks. So we like to get up and have quick serve breakfast at our resort's QS restaurant. This May we're staying at SSR and the QS restaurant The Artist's Palette opens at 7am. I know others such as Gasparilla Island Grill at GF opens at 6am. This give the GF guests an advantage in my view. Why don't all QSs open at the same time, preferably 6am? And FYI, we do not want to make breakfast in our room. We go on vacation to not do that.
We are staying at SSR in December. We've had the same issues with QS in the past as far as actually getting our food in time to rope drop. If you ordered right at 7 am at The Artist's Palette, did you get your food quickly? We stayed at Gasparilla in April and they took FOREVER. They definitely did not serve hot breakfast until 7 or 7:30... can't remember exactly. The Mara also had very long wait in the mornings. At both places there was at least a 30 minute wait. Hoping things go smoother at SSR... or either I need to give up on rope dropping. We do have a car, so maybe that will help. Planning to take a Minnie Van on MK day... hoping there is availability.

We just got back from AKL and I'm pretty sure the Mara was open at 6:30am. We ate at Sanaa twice for breakfast as we weren't focusing on the parks this trip. Sanaa's QS breakfast is excellent by the way.

Not focusing on parks sounds amazing. Did you happen to notice if Sanaa had gluten free QS breakfast options?

I'm sorry I didn't notice. My daughter has a peanut allergy but it was just myself and my wife this trip so I didn't pay attention to any allergy menus.

It was a great and relaxing trip. We did Epcot for about 3 hours just to do Cosmic Rewind and Space 220 Lounge and Animal Kingdom so I could do single rider on EE (wife not a fan) and do the Savor the Savannah Tour.

They'll all have some g-f options such as whole and cut fresh fruit, some packaged pastries, etc.

It's advisable to ask what they have because there may be items set aside for those with allergies/intolerances. That way, those aren't on shelves or in cold cases taking space that can be better used for more commonly sold foods.

Early morning breakfast is pretty bleak if you are trying to do early entry as a resort guest. DD and I discovered that in-park breakfast offerings are pretty much limited to sweet, sweet, and more sweet, and I cannot do that in the morning. We went to MK for early entry so there was nothing open at POFQ before we needed to get the bus, and we couldn't find anything to eat at MK other than "junk." I finally gave in and ate a frozen banana. I'm still astounded that they open the parks early and don't really offer food. We couldn't even find a bagel!

I plant to be at parks EARLY most days. I plant to pick up what I want the next am for breakfast the night before ..on my resv that includes A micro Ill pick up stuff that is easy and quick to heat.., otherwise cold is fine..I dont consider that cooking.

It is listed as 630 on the website and they offer mobile ordering

We did the fairly mediocre bacon egg and cheese wheat crossant sandwich from the Lunching Pad on our MK days. I think it was moved elsewhere, but was still available at a different location in July. Online it looks like Westward Ho (8:30) and Friars Nook (8am). We did find it would open early sometimes. We would reap drop, do 7DMT then Space Mntn, then grab the Lunching Pad sandwich.

For HS we always mobile order from Rontor Rosters and Woody’s Lunchbox

Are you sure they had full Mobile ordering at breakfast now? It didn’t when we were there in July. Online is says Lunch/Dinner. If it is open for breakfast…that’ll be GREAT!!!

Edit: thought you meant Sanaa. Yes Mara is open at 6:30, but only snack. Breakfast is at 7:30

I am not sure, no. Just looked at Disney web

If you have dvc you can make a quick omelette or breakfast sandwich before you leave

Figure it out before you come to Epcot - it is a breakfast free zone! We arrived early and not sure why I didn’t check our options were nil. Starbucks had queued practically out door. Before I got anything it be lunch time.

Do you know what I ate … oh yeah, the PINK DONUT. Had to go to American location to avoid massive lines.

EPCOT NEEDS BREAKFAST OPTIONS!
