Resort question

I am planning to treat my DW on our 25th anniv. to a stay at the Grand Floridian (late Aug '05 during the value season). I know I will be shelling out the big bucks but does anyone know if Disney includes the GF in the discount codes. If so, how much of a discount is usual on a standard room? Could possibly help us stay an extra night or 2. It's a once-in-a-lifetime special occasion but I really need to start my financial planning. Thanks for any help.

I don't care for the Grand Floridian - too fancy for my taste.

Yes - the GF is included in the WDW discount - this is a guess with the discount anywhere from $254 to $300 (without taxes) - standard room go fast - so make the reservation then try to change it when the discounts are announced.

you might get it for less but don't count on that.

Yes, I saw the Resort forum as soon as I posted this and re-posted. I agree with you about the taste thing but DW has been very specific. We vistited it on one of our other trips and she got the "fairy tale" fever. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime, believe me! I would be mor than happy with a moderate and All Star Sports will always be my fav. Contemporary has always been my dream since our first visit (the monorail thing did that, I guess!) Anyway, thanks for the info.
