I am thinking about renting DVC points for a 2009 trip. However, I was wondering if you can use points for other Disney resorts that are not DVC homes. We would like to stay at the Poly and were wondering if this is possible? If this is possible is there a points chart for these resorts?
There are points charts for other Disney (non-DVC) resorts. However, they take a lot of points, and the rental could cost you more than the rack rate, plus there is an additional $95 fee to use points outside of DVC.
You can use DVC points for other resorts on property however, they are at an exchange and subject to availability. There is also a fee of $95 that is non-refunable to stay at the resorts. You're best bang for your buck is to stay at a DVC resort, especially if you renting.
