Resort* Priceline v. Moderate?

Esp if we can get Dolphin or Swan, seems like we'd save money and possible have better location over staying in a moderate?

Any advice?

If you are happy with any of the hotels that show up on the Priceline biddingfortravel.com list that includes the Swan and Dolphin, Wyndham Palace, Hilton, Marriott Orlando World Center, Gaylord Palms or you never know when a new hotel might pop up in a catagory, and you don't mind the trade off of being in a Disney hotel, then yes it might be worth it depednign on the price.
If you think you would be really let down with one of those above places than you probably shouldn't try Priceline.
It is a tough decision. I loved the Dolphin and found it to be a great place. I also loved the Gaylord Palms but prefer to be on Disney Property and I love the Moderate resorts, particularly if there is a discount available.
Weigh your options and how you might feel about each one and then make a decision.

with priceline, it depends on when you are talking about?
we tried for our july trip three times now and bid as high as $95 a night and nothing was accepted!! not a single resort showed up for us!

with our ap discount (if they come out) we could stay at a
mod. resort for $104 or so a night, so we wont go any higher,
because some of the priceline resorts have a $10 resort fee per day on top of your bid price!!!

so buyer beware...
