resort pools

Hello, been yrs since at WDW and was wondering when there before we were able to resort hop, and swim in the differnt pools can you still do that?

The only pool hopping allowed is between sister resorts IE the 3 all star resorts.
They have started checking ID's at many of the pools because of the number resort guestof pool hopping and non resort guest using the pools

You can still resort hop to look around a the different resorts, eat in the restaurants, rent bikes and boats, but using the pools at other resorts isn't allowed. As sha-lyn pointed out they have begun asking for your room key at the pools to make sure you are actually a guest of that hotel. At some resorts they've put up fences to keep non-resort guests out of the pool area due to overcrowding and guest complaints.

We love looking at the pools at the different resorts. When we find an interesting one it's a good reason to book another WDW trip to stay there so we can use that pool

If you haven't been to WDW for a long time and enjoy swimming you might want to plan a day to check out one of the water parks
