Resort pool hours?

Can anyone tell me how late the resort pools are open? We will be arriving too late to go to any parks and I thought we might go to the pool. Not sure which resort we will be at either so any info will be appreciated

We are just back from RPH. I can tell you that this hotel pool is only open until 10pm. It is strictly enforced too. Even on Friday and Saturday nights! IOA and US closed by 8pm so we went back to the hotel to hang out at the pool and watch the dive-in movie. When the movie was over they came around and started telling everyone to leave. We were shocked! I've never stayed at a hotel where they close up so early! We were all herded out of the pool area and the pool was then locked up. This also includes the kiddie pool and the hot tubs. There wasn't much left for our family to do. We thought we'd get something to eat and come to find out the restaurants were closing too. The only thing opened was the lounge (Jake's). We have 2 kids so that wasn't really an option for us. We were in bed by 10:30pm, on a Saturday night, watching TV...on vacation!

At 10:30 with 2 kids on vacation we couldn't keep our kids up past 9pm. One night our DS fell asleep at the table at Hard Rock Cafe...the other night our DD fell asleep at Margaritaville. I think they do this to get people to go party in CityWalk, or get off to bed for an early start in the parks. We never made it past 10pm.

My DH thought the same about getting people to go over to Citiwalk. We weren't sure about the atmosphere, it seemed more for adults and I didn't want the kids over there in that case. When we walked through on our way back to the hotel it was already getting busy with "partiers". Not really a kid-friendly environment at night.

We don't have a pool at home so our kids really look forward to swimming in the evenings while on vacation. We are not early morning people so it didn't work well for us. I'm sure it's ok for other folks though, especially early birds. Just our observation...

Does the pool at HRH close this early as well? We are there the last week of June and parks are open later . It would be nice to be able to hit the hot tub or take a dip after an evening at the parks.

Wow that is unexpected! I love swimming in the evening after a long day at the park. Hopefully the pool will be open later in the summer.

Do not know about HRH or PBH, but the RPR closed at 10pm in the summer last year, and like they have said here all gates to the pool area are locked and they are pretty strict about it.

We just returned, Portofino Bay's beach pool closed at 10P on the weekend, the Villa Pool at 11P every night. Hard Rocks pool was open till 11P on the weekend and RPR's pool was open till 10P.
