resort/pool hopping at Disneyland?

Is there much of this going on between the 3 hotels and DVC at Grand Cal?

is there a wristband system or some way to know? I know they do at WDW, but never really noticed how they enforce it. thanks.

As far as I know there is no pool hopping allowed at Disneyland resorts.

Exactly. It's not permitted at DLResorts.

Unless the pool of your resort is closed, and then they tell you what pool you can go to, and your Key to the Magic is coded for that pool.

We were there at GCV and our pool slide was down and they were doing surfacing of the deck and I asked could we go to DL and the answer was no. Even though I told them about the fact there was no slide and could not use the pool. When you could use it was freezing cold with no heaters. We just used the hot tub. This was early march. For the amount of points used we should have been able to use the other resorts pools if they are not working.

That's odd. The pool was entirely unusable, and they said no? Did you ask about PPH's pool?

First of all, PPH pool is no good. Very crowded with kids sliding down a big slide.

Did you actually look at the PPH pool?

The slide does NOT go into the pool, it is an entirely separate thing.

The pool is perfectly fine; it's a nice rectangle, good for playing or for swimming laps if it's not crowded. And there's a counter service drinks place there.

We swam at DLH while PPH's pool was being worked on, and we saw NO servers anywhere, except for the cabana renters. We're staying there soon and have some pool time planned, so we'll see then!

Sorry, Honestly it was so crowded when I was there that I walked around once and left. That's why I didn't exactly remember how the slide was set up. Dh stayed with my younger son who wanted to go on the slide and my older son and I went back to the room.
