Hi there,

Am I right in thinking that a vehicle with a disability placard still gets complimentary parking at Disney Resorts and if so does anyone know at what point you should you show the placard, just at check in?

Many thanks.

Yes.
Show the front desk so they know not to charge parking to your account. You also should check your statement before check out to make sure it was not charged

We were informed by the front desk that we should notify the security folks at the gate when we enter our hotel grounds for check-in that we have a handicapped placard. They advised us that the security folks are the ones that indicate which guests arrive by personal vehicle and will need to pay a parking fee. That's not to say that the front desk won't help you with it, but if you are going directly to your room and not planning to hit the front desk up for anything right away, then letting the security guard know about your parking status will take care of things. :-)
