I am planning a company bonus trip for 15. Does anyone have any feedback on pros/cons for either.

The major con for a villa would be transportation. I love the bus system, you can come & go as you please

I really would like to stay in a moderate or better.

Any feedback is appreciated!!

Thanks!

hello and welcome to the Dis! :cool1:

If you are refering to the DVC villas, they are considered to be equal to the deluxe resorts. This is true esp. for the villas at the Beach Club, Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge as they share all the same pools, restaurants, etc as the hotel part of the resorts.

As far as numbers of people in the villas.. (not counting babies in cribs)
4 in a studio
4 in a 1 bedroom
8 in a 2 bedroom
12 in a grand villa (3 bedrooms)

IHMO, 8 in a 2 bedroom is too many esp. if they are adults. For 15, I would try for a grand villa and a one bedroom .. or a 2 bedroom for even more room, if money is not an issue. The number of grand villas is quite limited, so that could be a snag. But I would hesitate putting everyone in 2 2 bedrooms.

I agree with you about the transportation would be better at a villa on site. If these 15 people were off site and wished to travel independently, that would be a lot of cars.
