resort music download?

Does anyone know if downloads are available for the background music at the resorts or the parks. I am especially interested in the Wilderness Lodge. Does Disney sell the soundtracks?

Disney does sell some soundtracks from time to time. I would check there first, however in my experience their supply is usually lacking.

Here are some of my favs:
1) Amazon.com: They have a ton of it and some of it is other people selling their old CDs while others are bought right through amazon.
2) Itunes: I found a great deal of Disney music here.
3) Ebay: Often the CD you want is relatively old by Disney standard, you may have some luck there.
4) Disney collectors often sell their excess so sometimes you just have to hunt around
5) The Parks: sometimes you can only buy certain CDs in Disney itself. So if you're there and you see them, scoop them up!!

There is another wonderful way to enjoy Disney muisc (however you can't download it). This is by using Live365- the station is called Mouseworld radio and it is absolutely wonderful. I'm always listening to it. You can get it on your computer or smartphone. It is absolutely free which makes it even better.

On itunes, click on imixes on your right hand menu, (it's usually all the way at the bottom). Then search for "wilderness lodge" and you'll find an imix of music used in the lobby.

I've even made one but forget which one it is!!! We listen to it all the time in our house!

I used that iTunes download for VWL music a couple of years ago and I love having it on my iPod as a playlist. I tell my husband that I'm listening to the music from my happy place.

I just downloaded the wilderness lodge music from Itunes but cannot create a specific playlist. In fact I can't create a playlist of any kind. I create a new playlist folder, name it, and then try to drag the songs I want to the folder but I get that symbol that shows "banned" or stopped. You know, the one with the circle with the line through it.

Then when I go to open the folder, there is nothing listed.

What am I doing wrong?

I downloaded the WL music from an imix a couple of years ago, but I don't remember having any problems with making it a playlist. Sorry! I also downloaded AKL music too which was great in case you're interested!
