Resort Mug ???

Do you have to get all the resort mugs at one time? If they do not have a certain color you like, can you get the mug at another resort and use it at your hotel?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't look for your mug at another resort...I think the mug credit is just loaded on your card as an entitlement...since you can use your meal credits at other resorts, don't know why they'd say no on the mugs.

However, don't get your hopes up on a big selection of colors anywhere...I think they're running down the supplies (hope this means there will soon be new ones.) We've stayed at a couple different resorts this year and both had very limited selections (lots of black!) POFQ in May only had black and blue as the choices. In January, AKL only had 3 choices.

The resorts will have the same colors, and you are supposed to use the mug at the resort in which you purchased it, so I wouldn't take extra time to hunt down something that likely isn't available.

Actually, I've seen different colors at different resorts. I was surprised to see them.

edit: Unless the resort was out of a certain colors for a week. I think the current mugs have 5 or 6 colors.

There were purple, orange, and green mugs made for ASSpo for the rfid testing, and it is possible that there are a few here and there resort wide, but in general, black, blue and pink is typical of what you will find at most, if not all, resorts.

OP, if you have some other resorts you will be visiting anyway, I could see the idea of waiting for another color, but personally, I would not take time to try to hunt a different color down, and like I said before, technically, they are only to be used where you purchase them. Good luck!
