Resort mug in parks.

I know the mug can't be filled at the parks, but I was planning to fill up before leaving the resort and bring it into the park. Is this allowed.? I'll have water bottles in my small stroller cooler for later, but thought I may dump the leftovers of a CS beverage into my resort mug to keep it cool after I eat.
Anyone do this?
If so, are you keeping the mugs in your umbrella style stroller, and how.? ;)

A lot of people do that. It's nice to get back to your resort at the end of the day and stop at a refill station before heading back to the room.

We don't use strollers anymore. But I have a few carabeener (sp?) clips on our backpack that I will clip the mug handles to when they are empty. We always take at least one mug to the park. Great for leftover lunch drinks. I have taken my cup of soda on lots of rides. No comments from CM's.

On our last trip we were trying to hurry and finish our drinks before getting on a ride. A CM informed us that while you have to toss a paper cup before getting on a ride, they will never ask you to toss a drink in a souvenir or resort mug. We always bring our mugs and pour drinks into them now.

I'll often bring a resort mug into the park with me. They are great for frozen slushie type beverages, too. :)

The problem with the resort mugs is that they're really not very big. By the time you take the double lining into account, it doesn't actually hold very much.

Ok so I think I'll take them. They can stay clipped when not in use and just be carried while in use. I know one holder can accommodate a handle but probably not the other two..

For those of us that have no idea what a 'cup' measurement is, I found one of our mugs yesterday and filled it then poured it into a measuring jug.

400ml exactly, or about 13floz. So, somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 UK pint, which is larger than a US one.

MBs are the perfect size for strapping a mug handle to a bag (crossbody, backpack, etc). we rinse our mugs, then put a napkin inside to avoid any extra droplets.
just sayin'.....;)

Clever.!

Just a note - don't leave them unattended - there have been reports on dis of mugs left in strollers being stolen.

Will do. I plan to attach them with a retractable lock. :)

I believe 250ml = 1 cup?

We do this all the time. I usually have my coffee in it for the ride to the parks. When mug is empty I wash it out and stuff with a paper towel and attach it to my cross body purse by a carabiner. In park it's good for anyleftover drinks from lunch, to get ice water from a cs, or as Wood Nymph mentioned also great to carry around a slushy, like those Grand Marnier slushys in Epcot ::yes:: then it's also handy to have when you return to resort for refill before heading back to your room.
