Resort monorail

Hi, i just called today to the GF and they said the resort monorail will be running normally during my stay, Oct 24+ but i just read here that there was a resort monorail that had to be evacuated... anyone know if that has impacted anything since the incident?

A few things. When you called the GF, you actually called a general 'call center'. Most people think they're talking to the resort that they called, but they aren't. Even if you're sitting in your room, at the resort, and you call down to the front desk, you're getting a call center.
So when you called, you got a pretty stock answer.
As far as will the monorail be running 'normally' for your stay? Most likely. The evacuation was a separate situation. Just one of those things.
You should be fine.

The monorails are finicky. I've been on trips where there were no problems, I've been on trips where they've had to stop for a few minutes to let another pass or whatever. I try not to ride them unless there is no other option, I ride the boats from MK to the resorts and TTC.
