Resort monorail question

I've seen that although the resort monorail starts running at 7:30, you can't board at the TTC at that time unless you have a restaurant PS in the park. Will we be able to board at my resort anytime after 7:30 if we don't have a PS, or will we have to wait to a certain time to do so? This question refers to NON-EMH days BTW.
Thanks.

Cheers

If you are staying at any of the monorail resorts (CR, Poly, GF) then you can board the monorail at each respective station once it begins operation without a PS since this is your transportation option to the MK and Epcot. The resort monorail doesn't allow on-boarding passengers at the TTC unless they have a PS for a meal so that day guests do not ride the resort monorail rather than waiting for the express and the ferry to begin operation. Hope this what you were aiming for :teeth:

I would think that you will be able to. If not only for the reason that resort guests need to go to the TTC in order to have access to the EPCOT monorail.

When we stayed at the Polynesian we hoppped on the very first monorail of the day, at 7:00. We had PS at Chef Mickeys that day. We had no problem at all getting on that early. The driver never asked if we had a PS anywhere. As long as you are at a monorail resort, you can get on the monorail. I believe you can't get on at TTC since the other 'express' monorail is basically for those non-resort people that are driving in. So, if you get on the monorail at a resort, you can go to any of the stops along the route. You can get off at TTC and transfer over to the Epcot line, if it's running that early. Hope that helped.

Thanks everyone. My recent monorail rides are at the DisneyLAND Hotel, where you have to have a ticket to board since the other stop is inside the park. I didn't think that was the case in WDW, but it's been a looooong time (but getting shorter every day).

Cheers
