Hi! My family has gotten the idea of collecting limited edition lithographs of as many of the DVC resorts as we can. So far we have the BCV and VB lithos. Does anyone have any other lithos they'd like to trade?

Since we own three BCV contracts, we have two spare BCV lithos available for trade. Any help would be outstanding!!

Thanks in advance...

I own at BCV but don't have a BCV litho. I'd love one. I have a HH litho to trade!

Actually, I'd been thinking about posting this myself. I have an extra BCV litho and am hoping to find a VWL one in trade. PM or e-mail me if anyone is interested.

At the time the prior post on this thread was made, I was the one and only bidder on that SSR litho at the starting price of $14.99. The auction just ended and it ended up going for $32.00

I had previously paid less than $20 each for 2 BCV lithos on Ebay.

I am starting to think that if you were to buy the mimimum 150 points at SSR, then sold your litho, backpack (3 recently sold for over $35 each) and the free pins given out at the SSR sales tour, that you would have almost enough money to do your 1st add-on.

And the new Tinkerbell DVC pins that I had understood would be available throughout 2004 are selling for double the sales price.

Good thing I found out about DVC before I found out about Ebay or I would not have had enough money for my minimum 150 pts.

Happy bidding,
Rex

Sorry, Rex. That had occurred to me after I hit "Submit". I booked over to eBay to see if there were any items available that were of interest to me personally. Fortunately (for me, at least) there weren't any. :)

After I had previously missed out on one SSR litho that ended up going for an incredible $32.00, a saw a second one. I was again out bid for the second one, but just as well, the shipping was a rip-off at $10. It ended up going for a more reasonable $18.00.

Well, the third time was the charm. I found a new listing for a SSR litho and jumped right on the buy-it-now for $20 with a much more reasonable $6 shipping charge. I'm happy, now go for it.

Just wanted to update those of you that may be looking for SSR lithos and maybe someone who wants to sell one also what the going prices appeared to be on Ebay. Best of luck to all of you.

I'll return the favor and tell you that there are also a print, not the resort litho of BCV and some artwork from the VWL rooms.
The BCV print is going for around $32, but the VWL was only $10.

Thanks,
Rex

I've been watching for a BWV, since we purchased resale, but I haven't seen one yet. I don't have a trade, but I'd pay, if anyone is interested.

Two more DVC Resort litho auctions on Ebay ended earlier today:

The BCV litho went for a single bid of just $9.99. Too bad, I had already paid more than that for each of the 2 I had bought before.

The VWL litho ended up going for the big bucks. It was at $32.00 earlier this morning, but with a flurry of last minute bids, including my own, it went for $46 and topped my third and final bid of $45.

There is nothing currently being offered and I just received my 2nd SSR litho, first from my DVC purchase and second from Ebay.

Anyone wanting the DVC Tinkerbell & Jiminy Cricket pins, there are plenty being offered, but at very inflated prices over the at WDW prices of $6.50 and $10.50 respectively. Remember, only the Jiminy Cricket is a limited edition of 5000. Tinkerbell pin is supposed to be an "open edition" and available throughout '04.

Thanks,
Rex

Hey SSRex,
I think you bought lithos from my wife! I just wanted to thank you for helping to pay my maintenance fees:teeth: . And to think that my DW laughed at me when I told her she would get decent money for the lithos and backpack.

Guads, if you're serious, I'll take you up on that! I posted several months ago looking for a BWV in exchange for my extra VWL and found no takers. When we purchased BWV they weren't giving lithos, but when we bought our VWL we got one. I need a BWV!!

Check your private messages and I'll send you the details. :)

I have a extra BCV litho for anyone who wants it. I received it when we added on extra points in Oct. I'm not asking for money for it, just a happy home ! :earsboy: e-mail me if anybody wants it.

Three more DVC litho auctions on Ebay closed in the past day:

Hilton Head: $17.50 (Darn, thought I had a bargin at $7.50, but lost it with just 12 second left and too late to bid again, oh well)

Wilderness Lodge: $47.00 (I again gave up just short at $46.)

Boardwalk: $53.55, first one of those that I have seen, but wow, way too much for me.

Actually, for my DW's peace of mind, I am retiring from Ebay soon.

Aren't these available in the gift shops at the DVC resorts? I am sure I have seen them at OKW, and I thought also at Beach CLub in the emporium. Perhaps the ones I have seen are "different views" or something?

I also have a BCV I would be happy to share... We got 2.

You are right, they have lithos in the gift shops. The ones I have seen though arent the same as the ones DVC sends out (I dont think they are anyway). I got all excited one time when I saw a BW litho. Turns out it wasnt the villas. I went from way high too way low in a matter of a few minutes.

My counter is way off for some reason. I think we will be checking out at OKW the day you arrive. We will be there Mar.7 -13.

BTW I sent you a PM.

Previously, I had posted results of DVC litho auctions on Ebay after they had ended and more often than not, I had not won.

But since I am now no longer bidding, I'll let you know ahead of time what I saw just this morning:

There are 2 currently being offered (and certainly not by me):

SSR

Vero Beach

Both have starting price of just $5.00 and neither have a single bid yet. I searched under Disney Vacation Club (exact pharse).

Thanks,
Rex
