Resort Laundry

We just were at Grand Floridan Villas for an extended stay in the new resort studios building. We decided on some down time to do some laundry. It was easy and convenient. Later in our stay we went to do it again and the 2 machines were in use. A gentleman in the lobby said the other DVC building had laundry also. So I walked over there and many more machines. My wife was talking to a cast member and they told her every building in the Grand Floridan has a laundry room. Do all hotels have laundry facilities in all their buildings or most? It’s very helpful and we figured on our next extended stay we won’t have to pack as much

Yes, all Disney resorts have laundry facilities.

DVC 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, and GV’s have machines in the room

I'm pretty sure OKW is the only 1 BR/2 BR resort to have a dedicated laundry room with full-sized washers and dryers in the rooms.

I don't know when this change took place at the Wilderness Lodge's laundry room, but there's no longer a pad on the wall where you can swipe your credit card and select a machine. Now you musr scan the QR code on each machine and enter the payment on your phone.

Also, if you're using powder detergent on a front-load washing machine, please add the powder directly into the drum and not in the detergent dispenser. A wrong combination of water temperature and powder amount will clog the dispenser.
