Resort hotels and early entry

I went on Disneyland.com to get an idea price wise of what I'll be paying for a trip to Disneyland during the summer of 2017. Hopefully the prices won't change too much by then. Anyway, I typed in the Disneyland hotel, and when I got to tickets it mentioned I would get one day of early entry. Did I read it wrong, or did the policy change? Because I thought resort hotel guests get early entry every day of their stay.

Yes, the information on the tickets themselves is generalized to include everyone, many of which are staying offsite in one of the non-Disney owned hotels. A 3+ day park hopper ticket gives someone staying at, for example, the Howard Johnson across the street the ability to enter Disneyland Park an hour early (but NOT California Adventure) on either Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. This is specifically referred to as the "Magic Morning" benefit. If you are staying at one of the three Disney owned hotels, you automatically qualify for "Early Entry", which coincides with Disneyland on the same days as Magic Morning, but also gets you into California Adventure during the other days of the week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). any 3 day ticket or longer ticket gives you MM - it does not have to be a park hopper...but of course that is not the question but still wanted to clarify in case someone read this and though they did not get MM since they did not buy the hopper option
