resort/hotel close to disney

With disney resorts being very pricey I am thinking about staying off site. I am looking for a place that has at least 2 rooms since I am travelling with my 2 boys ages 5 and 2. It would be nice for them to have a separate sleeping area. Is there anything like that close to disney? I was originally looking at 1 bedroom villas in disney, but the price was just too high. Anyone have any suggestions for places close to disney and on the nicer side? Thanks so much.

I have booked my trip at www.floridaysresortorlando.com, we have a 2 bedroom suite and I got a good deal at $140/night. It gets awesome reviews on trip advisor! Seems to be close enough to everything and very nice. Hopefully we'll have no issues!

What developement did you rent in? That price sounds really high for a a 2bdrm. I got a quote from Windsor Hills today for $399 for the week, and that was a 3bdrm condo.

Runaway Beach Club and Lighthouse Key Resort are pretty new and nice. They also have great reviews.
Don't go by the prices on their websites though, they can be booked much cheaper elsewhere.

You will find plenty of nice condos and townhomes for less than $140 per night especially if you have a car and don't mind a 10-15 min drive to Disney. Try checking for homes in the Kissimmee area on sites like homeaway.com, vrbo.com or lastminutevillas.net. Another place to get reviews is on the Hotel & Accommodation reviews thread on these boards

Floridays is a timeshare condo resort... I booked it directly through them and not through an owner. The "regular" price on their website is over $200/night so I think my $140 is a great deal. I was too nervous to book a condo direct from a private owner, so this seemed like a good choice!

I just wanted to make a recommendation for you to check out this website.
My family of 6 people stayed in a gorgeous 3 bedroom in Kissimmee about 15 mins away from Disney & there was every kind of restuarant you could imagine. I cannot say enough how nice this house was. We stayed in #1004, but there are several nice homes on that website. I hope this helps you out.
