Resort Hopping

I will be making reservations soon for an upcoming five day trip and am seriously considering spending two days at the Swan and two at PO. I have a couple of questions.

1) How does it work for Disney to move your luggage? I assume you take your lugguge down to check-out. When you check-in the second resort is it at the check-in desk?

2) Will the Swan participate in this policy?

3) Any other tips?
