We've never resort hopped before but we have built one day into our trip to do just that. We'll have lots of time so we won't have to rush. We would like to use Disney transportation so we can sit back, relax, and totally enjoy everything.

Seeing WL, GF, and AKL are must-sees on our list. What would be the best plan for a starting point? Maybe go to WL and work back from there? What other resorts would you suggest seeing? Which Disney transportation would work best? ! I'm kind of in limbo trying to figure this all out since I hope to see as much as possible but not have to do a lot of backtracking. All suggestions for things to see and other tips would be greatly appreciated!

Beach Club and Yacht Club...they had an entire little city made entirely out of chocolate...

CR - not worth it

Epcot has some really great decorations so be sure to go there as well...

Assuming you are staying on-site, I would just try to fit in a stop or two after a day in the parks ... it really is more fun if you can spread your resort visits through your stay.

We usually explore the Poly the night we have reservations at O'Hana's and then will take the monorail to GF before taking the boat back to Ft. Wilderness.

Usually, we will drive to Boardwalk for an evening there. Animal Kingdom Lodge is usually something we fit in on a day where we have an hour or so to spare.

Last year my DH and I were there for a full week before our DD flew down ... we spent each day by the pool and then would go for an afternoon beverage at a couple different resort lounges ... great way to see something different, in a relaxing way.

let me clarify ... we'd relax at our OWN resort pool (Ft. Wilderness) before going for beverages at the other resorts.

and visit a number of them over an afternoon or evening. The Dolphin, Beach Club and Yacht Club, etc. are all in that area. Enjoy!

sperk99...chocolate is good...even if it's just looking at it! :earboy2: Will definitely add BC and YC to our list.

VAN and Kapp...good suggestions! I hadn't thought of doing it that way and that would allow us to see even more. :teeth:

Please keep those ideas coming!

hit all the monorail resorts together....GF, poly, contemp
in that order.....from the contemporary walk the 5 minutes to the
boats at MK ...grab a boat to WL....bus from Wliderness lodge to DTD or TTC (if there is one)

all rest of the resorts we have dinner there and just explore before or after dinner

and go whereever from there.....thats our plan

I think this is actually the BWI, and not BC/YC. BC has a wonderful carousel set up in their lobby, and I can't quite remember what the YC has setup. I believe they have a little General Store with a train running around the top of it.

Definitely do the GF, WL, and AKL. Can't vouch for the Poly, and the CR didn't really have a lot up with the exception of a huge Christmas Tree outside. Nothing beats WDW during the holidays.
