Resort Hopping- suggestions wanted

So we have a cruised book, on-board the Dream at the end of January. We are staying on Disney property before and after the cruise for a couple days. We want to explore and see some of the other resorts, what are some do's and don'ts and must sees. We have about a day and a half and we want to hit down town of course.

Where are you staying.
I think the easiest hop to do is the monorail hop. Get on the resort monorail, get off at all three resorts, GF, Poly CR. All three have great lobby and gift shop areas (well the first two do I'm not a fan of CR). When you are done at MK get on the boat to WL and enjoy that beautiful lobby. Take a bus to AKL and explore that lobby and grounds.

All resorts have to be done from a park or DTD by boat so you should take that into consideration unless you have a car. From HS take the friendship boat and explore BW, BC and YC, if you have time visit the Swan and Dolphin.

From DTD take the boat to OKW or SS or POR/POFq.

I'm not sure about the other mods or the values, you might have to bus to them.

You are welcome to visit any/all resorts you wish, and you can shop, dine and explore to your heart's content. The only "don'ts" are that you can't use the pools, gyms, or club-level lounges.
