Resort Hopping Question

We're planning on doing a split stay between Beach Club (4 days )& The Poly (3 days), but I have questions....

Should I put all of our park tickets on our first reservation, or do the exact amount of ticket days for each reservation? We want to have hoppers for the entire trip. It looks like If I buy the tickets under each reservation, I'll be charged $181.06 for the hoppers each time. If I purchase all of the tickets on the first reservation, I still get charged $181.06, but just once. Am I reading that correctly?? It looks like $181.06 each time, but it's also just $181.06 for the full (as if we were staying at 1 resort the full 7 days). Sorry I'm repeating myself, I just want to make sure I'm explaining properly!!

Thank you!

ETA - We're not going till 10/2023 when DDP will hopefully be back. So there's another factor to the ticket purchase time!

BC/Poly split stay is awesome! We just tried it in January and I fell in love with both resorts, and that was before many things returned. I can see why people love these resorts :smickey:

You can buy a length of stay ticket including and attach it to your first reservation.
For our trip we only had 2 nights at Poly (then 6 at BC) but 9 day park hopper. The ticket was valid for 12 or 13 days from Day 1.

For DDP, it would be split for each reservation. That really has no cons and there is a pro... you have more flexibility. You can attach DDP to just one resort of your trip (needs to be used from check in to check out of that stay), or you can get different levels of DDP for each resort stay, or get the same DDP for both.

What we were hoping to do was attach Deluxe DDP to the first 2 days at Poly, then we'd actually get to use it for 3 days since it includes both check in and check out days. Then just get regular for the rest of the trip (or choose nothing for the second resort too). DDP wasn't running yet for that trip tho.

I’m not sure where you are getting this pricing as 2023 pricing isn’t out yet and it’s really low. Multi-day ticket prices are “front-loaded” meaning the first ~4 days are the most expensive and longer (days 5-10) cost less to add. So an 8-day ticket will cost less than two 4-day tickets. Add the full tickets to your first reservation, and make the second resort either a room-only or ticketless package (if DDP is back).

I think the $181.06 was for hopper upgrades on a pair of tickets, then they wondered if they'd need to buy hoppers for each part of the split stay.
