I will be resort hopping for a day, ending with a meal at one of the Disney hotels, so...

Which ones would you visitand why and your favourite for dinner at approx 5pm.

Hi Ali,

I would recommend Bomas at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Wonderful buffet with a hugh range of interesting foods to sample, surpurb desserts. The Lodge is an incredible place to soak up the theming (even the washstands in the loos are leopard print marble!!) and you can watch the animals on the savannah.

I love the Wilderness Lodge - really awe inspiring lobby. Tea at Artist Point?

Or the Polynesian - some think this is very cheesy and 1970s but I love the South Seas atmosphere and music. Tea at 'Ohana's?

Boardwalk Inn/Villas is a great place to visit, with lots of different dining options (Spoodles, Flying Fish) and the nighttime entertainment of the Boardwalk itself.

You can't go wrong with any of the resorts but these are my favourites.

How can you choose.

Grand Floridian - you could dine at Citrico's, Narcoossee's :) very special
Polynesian - I would choose Ohana's - great place
Contemporary - Chef Mickeys:) or California Grill - the view
Wilderness Lodge - Artist Pointe - wonderful lobby and grounds too.
Animal Kingdom Lodge - YUM Boma's
Yacht & Beach Club - haven't tried anything but Beaches and Cream here.
Boardwalk - Spoodles or Flying Fish are both great

Sorry that was no help whatsoever!!

I've never spent a day resort-hopping - we usually visit one at a time. I think doing one after another could get a bit tedious.

I don't think you'd manage to do them all in a day. Your best bet is probably to do either the Epcot resorts (Yacht Club, Beach Club and BoardWalk), followed by the monorail resorts (Poly, Contemporary and Grand Floridian), or vice versa. You could also take a water taxi across to Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge.

If you are just doing resorts and no parks, the BoardWalk is a nice place to finish your evening and you'd have plenty of options for eating (although I'm not sure how many of the resort restaurants open for dinner as early as 5pm). We love ESPN, Spoodles and Flying Fish Cafe (all at the BoardWalk), but your choice will depend on the make-up of your party and your dining preferences.
