Can any of you beat this craziness??? Let me first say that it did not start off like this- It just sort of evolved into this.

Friday 1:30am - Pop Century ($66) -We will be driving straight thru the night from Louisiana we will crash until 9:45am then

Friday 10:30am- Polynesian ($229)- check in and PS at O'hana's for 10:50am

Saturday 12:00pm- YC ($164) check in for my conference. We get to stay here 4 nights.

Wednesday 12:00pm - AKL ($124) last night.

Any words of encouragement???

I am going to pack our toiletries all in 1 bag, park gear in another and the clothes in 4 separate bags (1 for each hotel) with clothes in ziplocks. That way each hotel we can just carry in 3 bags.
Also DD(20mos) is not making this trip so we will be very mobile with just me DH, DD(12) & DD(7).

Sounds like fun!

We ALWAYS stay at 2 resorts...cos I like to have a few nights in each to experience it, but in DW you can change resorts within an hour...and you feel like you had a longer vacation!:teeth:

Cindy, sounds like you've got your act together!

We resort hop alot, but KUDOS to anyone that can stay 1 night at three different resorts and have 4 resorts in their itinerary!

Let us know how it works and have fun!

Well, I guess maybe not all the packing up and moving, but I would love to do a resort hop! We're actually staying in 2 this trip, and I still would love to sneak in a night at the Pop Century for my grandson. I don't know what's happened to my mind! I think it's just turned to jello! It's probably that AP calling to me...

BTW, what a great rate at the YC! How did you score that?

Easy peasy!

5 resorts and villa stay in 3 weeks!

Check my sig for my resort hopping itinery at Easter this year!

So many resorts, so little time! Go for it!

As long as you have more than one day at the reorts you want to enjoy otherwise the check-out from the one and the check in from the other might prevent you from pools and naps, if that's in your plans.

I'm feeling much better about my craziness--although we did take off our 1 night at AsMo at beginning and change to extra BWI--we have 2 nts BWI, 4 nts Poly LVC and 2 nts AKL concierge. Leaving in 2 weeks, hoping it all goes smoothly. Dad and 12 yo brother decided to join us for a few days last minute too just to add to the craziness! Oh, and all three resorts are new to us--trying to branch out. Good luck to you!

Last Feb 04, we went to WDW and our hotel line up was like this:

On way down: Country Inn
1st night: Doubletree Club
2nd night: Hilton DTD
3rd, 4th night: Wilderness Lodge
5 - 7th night: All Stars Movie
On way back up: Country Inn

I never unpacked our suitcases. Everything just stayed in there. It was exhausting but we love trying out the different resorts.

This May it was:
On way down: Fairfield Inn
1st, 2nd night: POP Century
3 - 5th night: Beach Club
6 - 8th night: AKL

Again, I never unpacked.:teeth:

My only "advice" would maybe be to just have fun with it (although perhaps a little special organization as far as your "stuff" goes might help in some ways).

I don't know if I can "top" you, but we too will be doing a lot of "hopping" that didn't start out as crazy as it's ending up (not quite by choice). We'll be staying 1 night in one state, our 2nd night on an Amtrak train, 5 nights at one Disney resort, then 1 night at another. After a month's break, we'll be staying 1 night at the previous one, and 1 night at a different one. Then a 2nd month's break followed by 1 night at the last one, 2 nights at yet another different one and 7 nights off-site. It's going to be a bit "crazy" doing so much switching around, but I'm just going to try to approach it with a "fun" attitude and just experience it however it all turns out.

Oh, and it will be my first stay(s) onsite, so I don't know my way around or have any experience with Disney's hotels. :p Hope it goes okay. :)

Glad to know I'm not the only hopper out there!! I'll let you know how it goes. The Pop Century and Poly are new for me and the girls. DH has not stayed at any of the four so he is excited!

And I thought I was resort hopping alot this trip!!
POP - 1 night
AKL - 5 nights
Beach Club - 2 nights

These are all 3 new resorts to us. Can't wait!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Resort hoppers unite:teeth:
Our upcoming trip:
4 nights GF
2 AKL concierge
4 Polynesian GV concierge.

I wish I could add POR:tongue: With 3 kids under 9 that's too much. I need some down time.

This seems like as good a place as any to ask about resort/hotel hopping :teeth: We're currently scheduled for: 3 nights at POP and then 3 nights at AKL...here's the catch: Our flight arrives MCO at 10pm - so we're probably not even going to check-in until 11pm or later! Should we stay somewhere else (off-site) that first night and save some $$$ ? Any idea/suggestions?

MC97,
I would just stay at the POP because you will end up wasting part of your first full day there by checking out/checking in, packing/unpacking, and if you can't get into your room until after 3pm, you won't feel as relaxed as you would if you unpacked the night before, ate breakfast hit the parks!

We're hopping too!

6 nites POR
3 nites YC
6 nites CR
3 nites AKL-concierge

Four new resorts in one visit, YAY!

I reduced my resort hopping. Three times (twice in Disney) my hotel room wasn't available until. after 6:00p, a fourth time my room wasn't available until 2:00p.

I know you can find a place to change into a bathing suit BUT it's a PITA to be "homeless" for half a day.

mc97- We had the same dilema. I got an AP rate of $66 for POP so that is why we are driving straight thru and staying the first nite there. The Holiday Inn's I checked on the drive down were more than that.

We would have loved to check in at the POLY but at $229 vs $66 POP won out.

I don't know what your rate is, but I don't think it would make enough of a difference to check in off site and move the next day.

That is a lot of hopping with short stays - hope all works out for you - we recently did

BCV - 2 nights
BWV - 3 nights
AKL - 2 nights
BCV - 3 nights

So we hopped and hopped but nothing like what you are doing

Have a great time and pack well!

thanks
jaysue

Hey Cruisin Minnie - we're from Louisiana too!!! We're from Bush, on the Northshore (St. Tammany Parish).

Anyway - we'll be driving straight through too come July 2 - and we're staying at Pop Century. (No resort hopping for us - DH wouldn't like switching).

Have a great time!!! Give us a report when you get back!!!
