Resort Hopping and ADR

We have a off-day while in WDW in December.. After reading all the advise here we are planning to resort hop to Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge with a 2:00 Lunch ADR at Whispering Canyon. We are also going to MVMCCP that night. How much time do we need at each resort, in your opinion to see the decorations and such? Just wondering what time we should start out that morning, since this trip is a gift for my mom who is 74 I don't want to over do it

I would do at least an hour at each of those resorts to get a good feel for the decorations.

if you want to see all the resorts that are decorating for christmas you want to have 30-45 mins per resort. all of the deluxe resorts are decked out. the grand floridian will make you hungery. turst me. the smell of a 16 ft tall ginger bread house is wonderful. also allow 15 mins drive time. you could goto the poly and park. the monorail all the deluxe resorts. we did it last year. saved a lot of time to hit up 3 resorts. then drive to the wilderness lodge. its a must. try to visit the swan and dolphin. start time i would guess as 8-9 am? if you plan it right you can do poly,GF and contempory before you do WL for lunch. then try to visit the others later on your trip if possible.

Keep in mind that one of the nice things to do in the resorts is just sit in the lobby, relax, and enjoy the experience. This is especially true at the GF and WL. I would plan more time than you think you need to see things, and spend some time off your feet relaxing.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and info.. I am really lookingforward to showing my mom all the decorations as she is a "nut" for Christmas.
