Resort Hop to Coronado Springs?

Hello!

I currently have a reservation for September 9-15 at POP. For some reason, I can't quit looking at other Resort prices (obsessive planning disorder.. is that a thing?

) and have been considering doing a Resort Hop in order to experience more than one place. For 30 more dollars a night I can hop to a water view room at Coronado Springs from the 11th to the 15th. I don't know much about CSR. Think it's worth the hop? Is the construction super annoying? How does the bus transportation compare to POP?

Thanks in advance for any info!

I've stayed at CSR before and really liked it--will be staying September 16-26 as it happens--part at CSR and part at CBR. Hope the construction isn't bad. The reason I had to comment on your post is the "obsessive planning disorder"--if there is such a thing, I certainly have it too!:D:D

All I can say is that for my last four annual visits I stayed at value resorts but this time, due to the low cost to upgrade, I'm staying at CSR.

I stayed there once for two weeks in 1999 (yes, the last century!) I had unpleasant experiences with the staff at the Pepper Market (3x) but otherwise enjoyed my stay. Still, I didn't want to return due to my experiences at that Pepper Market. But after 18 years thought maybe I'd give the resort another chance.

The main reason is due the the amenities at CSR vs the value resorts. I'm looking forward to having two TS restaurants (one that is open for all three meals, unlike other moderate resorts) and most especially a real inside lounge. I like to go for a glass of wine and an appetizer on my way out for the evening and can't do that at a value resort. They only have outdoor pool bars that don't serve food. And it will be hot as blazes early Sept when I'll be there so I won't want to have a glass of wine at the pool bar at 4 p.m.

I've only read on here that the construction at CSR isn't really that disruptive but I guess I'll see for myself.

Wish it was only $30/night for me to make the move from All Star Sports to CSR. It will be about $50/night and I think it will be well worth it.

I'll be there early/mid September as well so i hear ya on the heat!! I do love the idea of the inside lounge. I've never stayed at a Disney Moderate, so maybe it's time to try it out. I stayed at Swan and Dolphin, which was great, but it didn't give me the disney bubble feel.

I'm glad i'm not the only one that suffers from OPD!!!! My husband thinks I'm crazy! Glad to hear you liked CSR. I'm leaning more and more towards booking a few nights there. It sounds so lovely!

We've stayed at both and love CSR way better for many reasons. Probably the top two reasons are: 1) fantastic bus service and not dealing with crazy long que lines at the resort and 2) an amazing pool with a super fun water slide.
