I have a BC room booked for our upcoming trip (as well as a GF, I'm very indecisive lol) but I am now wondering if it would be smarter to go with a 1 bedroom villa. Our last (and first trip with our kids) we stayed at Poly and it was snug with a 4 year old and twin 1 year olds in cribs plus a double stroller, a single stroller, and luggage. We stayed 7 nights. This trip is 11 nights. I love the convenience of BC (and GF) but now I am wondering if it would be smarter to do a 1 bedroom villa at Kidani? DH is not excited about having to bus everywhere but I'm afraid 11 nights in a small room is going to be too much for all 5 of us. Oldest will be 5 and twins will be 2, most likely sleeping in pack n plays. We'll still have the strollers and luggage. I looked at the BC villas but they only have a king and queen sofa bed, if the twins wont sleep in the pack in plays we will need an extra bed.

We've never stayed at Disney this long before and I am hoping to hear from others who have? Kidani standard view would be our only option right now, which isn't ideal, I'd much rather get a savanna view.

In my opinion that would be a lot of time in a very small location. I think you would begin to feel cramped. The one bedroom seems to be a better idea. If you cant do savanna view, is Kidani your only option? OKW has big rooms and usually has availability. At least there your view could be on a golf course.

My only experience staying longer term was a few years ago when my roommate and I changed apartments. We really wanted to be in this one complex and had to wait two weeks after our other lease ran out. We stayed at Caribbean beach for two weeks. Just the two of us was cramped after a while. We had a storage unit and didn't have much stuff with us. Its just a long time in a studio.

I'll have to look at OKW, DH and I actually stayed there for our disneymoon so that would be kind of neat to bring our kids back there. My oldest is currently obsessed with Lion Guard and wants to stay at AKL thanks to some nicely timed commercials for that resort on Disney Jr lol.

Haha!! Disney has a way of doing that!! Yes, the theming at OKW is not as exciting but I just think its so relaxing and would be a good fit for a long stay!!

I can see two cribs being cramped. However managing a single stroller, let alone a double on a bus is no joke. I would choose BC or Poly, and see if ine if the twins would sleep in the pull down bed. It is lower than the standard bed, and I believe you can request bed rails.

OKW buses were always plentiful and never crowded, so unless it's a really busy time, like right after Wishes, you should be able to navigate with the stroller with no problem. Plus if they nap, it's nice to have the separate bedroom and in room laundry will come in handy.

Are there any 1-bedrooms available at BCV, BWV or BLT? Honestly, I would take convenience to parks over bigger space on this one. 3 kids and 1 double stroller with only 2 adults on a bus for every park is going to get old very fast. That's a lot to juggle and if you have trouble finding seats on the bus, even worse.

If you thought Poly was cramped, the BC rooms are smaller. But as you say, if your twins can sleep in a bed, it gives you more floor space not having 2 pack & plays. GF rooms are large also. They all have 2 queens & day bed. So the twins could either have the queen or day bed. As mentioned bed rails are available.

We love AKL, and walked over to Kidani to look. They have a nice porch with rocking chairs overlooking Savana off the lobby, and a great lookout with fire pit downstairs. The kids splash area is super cute. The downside is bus everywhere. That's a lot of strollers fold up before bus arrives. And they don't have a quick service restaurant, you'd have yo walk over to Jambo House.

At BC many but not all rooms have a sofa pull out. You'd have to request one on your room requests. The big pros at BC is being able to walk to 2 parks. And with GF you have the monorail to 2 parks so no folding & unfolding strollers.

At BCV I guess the big concern is what if they won't sleep in the pack & play? But maybe being at Wdw, and so tired at the end of the day they'd sleep anywhere, lol!!

No bad choices, and lots of hard decisions!
