Resort guest perk

With disney theme park revenue down about 11%, in order to maximize profits could Disney do the following. Except during peak times on Monday thru Thursday one park each day will be closed to the general public and open to resort guests only. A minimum stay of 5 nights will be required.

I think this is feasible due to the fact that the other parks will handle the offsite guests. Guests at Disney resorts wish to feel that they are "special" and want to be treated different IMO.
Disney could cut all prices 10% for food and sovuniers for that park that day. They could also increase character participation that day.

My belief is that if people perceive that they are getting something extra they will pay the premium. This will not hurt
the off-site visitor as the great majority of Disney on site guests will be at the designated park and the other 3 parks will be less crowded.

Doesn't sound like good business practice to me. They even did away with early entry for resort guests, so they certainly wouldn't give them a whole day to themselves!
