Resort Gift Shops

Do they sell balloons at the resort gift shops?

We are going down to WDW in July for my son's birthday. We are leaving a day early so he can wake up in Disney on his actual birthday and have the whole day to spend there. I would love to decorate the room before he wakes up. I'll take any other suggestions on how to make his day magical. I was planning on ordering a cake to be delivered at his birthday dinner. We are taking him to Legoland for one of the days during our trip(still trying to figure out how to suprise him w/that. Thinking scavenger hunt). Also his best friend and his family are flying down w/us and spending the weekend at WDW before they visit family. Both families are excited and hopefully we can keep this a secret for next 3 1/2 months(none of the kids know).

I,personally,have never seen balloons available in any WDW Resort shop.

Most resorts(except AKL,Kidani) do have balloons they give out at the Front Desk during check-in and for "surprise magic".

You can also get birthday pins...I got one at check in

You could have balloons delivered to the resort the day you arrive, then you could go down to the front desk and pick them up early that next morning. That way your ds would see them when he wakes up.
Otherwise, there really is no way to get them..the gift shops don't sell them. At least, not any of the gift shops I've been in.

Check out Disney Florist. I believe they have balloon bouquets that they can deliver.

You can have balloons delivered to your resort, I have had that done before. As long as you are not staying at AKL that is. Balloons are not allowed there as they don't want them getting in with the animals.
